Sophie: In 2002, I had an epiphany and founded YOGI TIMES Lifestyle Media Group with three of my best friends (JC Gabler, Tim Watson and Kiko Tabuchi-Kennedy). Together, we gathered a team of passionate and dedicated people who helped us co-create and run YOGI TIMES magazine in Los Angeles and San Francisco for over 7 years until it became a digital platform. Unstoppable at times, doubtful at others, I get a kick out of introducing absolute beginners to yoga, nutrition, wellness and the path of self discovery - knowing that my contribution can sometimes unfold in the most amazing ways.

I am the creative force behind yogitimes.com Yoga and meditation are my balance, raw and vegan food my fuel, friends & family my anchors. I called Bali, Los Angeles and South of France, my home.

My strength? I can talk to anyone on the planet and feel comfortable. My soft spot? Organic goat feta cheese on a piece of rustic bread, a line of olive oil, sun-dried tomatoes and a sprinkle of Provencal herbs... Help me!

JC: I moved from France to Los Angeles in 1993. My yoga practice was a turning point in my life, giving me the focus and the direction I had been seeking. After returning from a 10 day Vipassana meditation course, I co-founded YOGI TIMES Lifestyle Media Group and delved into the publishing world with great passion and with the clear intention of sharing the joy of yoga, health and personal growth with the world!

After pursuing a career in the entertainment industry for several years, I discovered a talent for finance while working on the development of our media company.

As the co-founder of yogitimes.com, I focus on keeping the business running smoothly with one eye looking to the future growth of the company. Tennis and yoga keep me fit, and the Bali sun keeps an ongoing tan on my soul!

My strength? Finding solutions at the speed of light. My soft spot? As a foodie, I live for breakfast, lunch and dinner and everything that comes in between! I keep it under control by eating mainly a vegan raw and macrobiotic diet.
